I can survive for nearly 10 years because of my acting career and I always respect it. People call you to cut ribbons at the event and the stars get good money. It was because of my film career that I became a producer. I did it at the age of 20. All this happened only because I was a supposed face to go. Rimi confessed that acting was not her passion.
Rimi also revealed that I bid farewell to Bollywood because I was tired of playing a glamorous pot in films. It was very boring when you were used to a glamorous prop. You were asked to cry fake in the background while the hero was on centre stage. I want to come back not for survival but for movies I can choose and say, I am proud of myself. Rimi said that I am proud of my movies Johnny Gaddaar and Sankat City but these movies did not do good business. Thankfully, now the filmmaker and the audience have a different vision. She also pays attention to content. People are now admissible to new ideas.
