Rishabh Pant has impressed everybody with his performance in IPL matches. Pant is now a regular in the Test squad while almost making it to the 15-man squad for the upcoming World Cup but he has not managed to make the place in the WC team.  Often Pant has thrown away his wickets cheaply going for a big shot and questions have been raised about his maturity. It could be the reason behind the decision to pick an experienced wicket-keeper in Dinesh Karthik over him in the World Cup squad. However, Pant has admitted that he wants to take all the criticism positively and wants to learn from it.

Pant told Times of India, "I take any criticism positively. Finishing matches is important. I will learn to do it consistently. You only learn from your experiences and mistakes.”

Pant went on to say that people should give him some time to make changes in his games as he is just 21, not 30. He further said, "Things don't change overnight. I am just 21. It's difficult to think like a 30-year-old man. In due course, my mind will be stronger and there will be a lot of maturity. You need to give it time."
