In the cricket world,  Australians are known as the masters of the dark art of sledding. They have uccessfully managed to unnerve opposition players by giving them a mouthful on several occasions. But On day five of ongoing Adelaide Test Indian Wicket-keeper Rishbah Pant was at his chirpy best and it was Pat Cummins who was on the receiving of it t in Adelaide on Monday.

Indian bowlers got the wickets of top-six Aussie batsmen before Lunch on the final day and as they were trying to break the budding partnership between Tim Paine and Pat Cummins, Wicket Kepper Pant tried to unsettle the latter with a few remarks from behind the stumps.

Pant’s voice is clearly caught by the stump mic. Wicket kepper was heard saying things like “C’mon Patty, c’mon Patty” and “it is not easy to bat here.” Another gem from Pant was to refer spinner Ravichandran Ashwin as ‘Ashley’.

Talking about match, India grabbed the key wickets of Shaun Marsh, Travis Head and Tim Paine as they inched towards their first Test win on Australian soil in a decade, with the Australians battling to stay in the game.
