Rishi Kapoor like his autobiography Khullam Khulla has always speaks his heart out. Recently Kapoor shared, "If I remember right, Neetu conceived Ranbir during this time when we were picturizing 'Meri kismet mein tu nahi hai shayad'. It makes the song even more special for us."

Song even make it more special, "Incredibly, she has done it without nagging me to change, and patiently puts up with my whims and moods."

He talked about his love story, "By the time Bobby was released in 1973, Stardust, which was the most popular magazine of its time, published a story about a budding romance between Dimple and me. Dimple, who by this time was already married to Rajesh Khanna, was not greatly affected by it. But it put an end to my relationship with Yasmin, I tried hard to get her back in my life, but she did not agree."

Rishi about his father's affair wrote, "“My father, Raj Kapoor, was 28 years old and had already been hailed as the ‘showman of Hindi cinema’ four years before. He was also a man in love at the time, unfortunately, with someone other than my mother. His girlfriend was the leading lady of some of his biggest hits of the time, including Aag (1948), Barsaat (1949) and Awara (1951)."
