May 07,2016:As per the police, “in Tehri district, a 25 year old Sub-Inspector in a paramilitary force is believed to have drowned in river Ganga when he was rafting”

Manoj Negi, (House Officer of Kailashgate Police Station) said, “Quickly after the occurrence was reported around 5 PM, a liberation operation was launched by the police to trace the Sashastra Seema Bal official. He is feared to have drowned in the waters”

The official further added, “ posted in Guwahati with SSB hails from Karnal in Haryana”

His family members have been informed about the accident ,he said
