Indore: Rising corona infection, more than 1500 cases reported in a day

On Monday, samples of 5206 suspected covid samples were tested in Indore city, out of which a record 1552 new patients have been infected so far. 629 patients have increased in a day. The city had an infection rate of 18.1 percent. Six people died of the infection on Monday. So far, the death toll has reached 1011. According to the covid Bulletin, 10 lakh one thousand 860 samples are being investigated so far. 80 thousand 986 of which were found infected. On Monday, 213 patients have been discharged from the hospital. So far, the number of people going home healthy has reached 71 thousand 519. Presently 8384 patients are undergoing treatment.

Micro Containment Area at Malharganj, Sudama Nagar, Silver Ox: According to the information received, three areas of Indore city have been declared as new Micro Containment Areas. Jimmie Silver Ox Colony houses N-1, O-P and Houses N-1 to CP, Sudama Nagar Sector-D houses Nos. 1851 to 1857 and 1858 to 1864 D. and Malharganj's Gali No.-6. 

Collector Manish Singh has also constituted teams of officers to monitor these containment areas under the Epidemic Diseases Act 2020. The Incident commander, revenue, police and municipal officials included in the team are going to be monitoring the micro containment area regularly. Kin and close contact of positive cases of covid infection will be quarantined.
