There is news of relief for the Indian team leading to the third Test match between India and England in Leeds, that their rising star all-rounder Shardul Thakur became fit. This statement has been provided by the vice-captain of the Indian Test team, Ajinkya Rahane in the virtual conversation. He said that Shardul is fit and available for selection in the playing eleven for the upcoming third test against the hosts. He further said now we have to see with which combination we will move for the third test.

Shardul could not participate in the second Test at Lord's due to injury in his first Test. Ishant Sharma replaced him granted in the team in the playing XI for the second test match. India also won this match by 151 runs. Ishant grabbed 5 wickets in both innings. Aside from these, Bumrah, Shami took 3-3 wickets, and Siraj took 8 wickets.
