Bengali superhit actress Rituparna Sengupta remains in the headlines due to her films and she is highly praised for her brilliant acting. The actress returns to the Hindi domain with the forthcoming film 'Salt'. The National Award-winning actress is going to share the screen space with Chandan Roy Sanyal.

Talking about the film, the actress said, “Film Salt is a sweet story about a couple in which the woman is an artist and the husband is an engineer. The story covers a time frame of a few years, on how they learn from the world and come back to each other. Their relationship is sweet but comes with a pinch of salt."

Rituparna made her big-screen debut with Prabhat Roy’s film “Shwet Pathorer Thala". She also worked in Bollywood over the past two and a half decades. She worked in the Hindi film for the first time titled “Teesra Kaun”. After that, she worked in over 30 Bollywood projects like “Main, Meri Patni Aur Woh”, “Gauri The Unborn”, “Sirf”, “Bumm Bumm Bole” and “Mittal v/s Mittal”.
