Bengali actress Rituparna Sengupta is the most gorgeous diva of the Bengali cinema. According to the recent news, the actress will soon shared the screen with actor Chandan Roy Sanyal in a romantic drama titled Salt. The film 'Salt' is directed by Sunny Ray and it will release on the OTT platform soon. The music of this film is given by Ranajoy Bhattacharjee, while Ayan Sil will be the director of photography.

The story of the film 'Salt' revolves around introvert architect named Shankar (Chandan Roy), who falls in love with the girlfriend of his boss, Maya (Rituparna Sengupta). She is an extrovert writer who is impressed by Shankar because of a strange lie on their first date. The shooting of the film is done in Kolkata and Darjeeling.

Talking about the film, the lead actor Chandan said that this film reminds him of Hollywood movie "Blue Valentine". Apart from him, filmmaker Sunny Ray said, "I am excited to work with such amazing actors, crew and supportive production house P and P Entertainment. I am looking forward to presenting you a very sweet love story about an unusual couple set across a period of time."
