Ambedkarnagar: two children, who went for bathing in Ghagra River near Birahar Ghat in Jahangirganj police station area, drowned in the river. The two bodies were pulled out with the help of divers with locals who arrived at the information. According to police, the two bodies have been sent for post-mortem.

As per information received from sources, 9-year-old Manuddin and 8-year-old Ali Arshad, a Mansurganj resident of Jahangirganj Police station, were bathing at Birghaghat in the river on Sunday morning. At the time of bathing, he sank as the river moved into a fast flow. The two died because of it. The incident was reported to the police by the people. A report from our police on the information was provided by Co. RP Rai and so Jahangirganj Thanhod with the team of divers.

According to information, two youths taking selfies and photographs of the river bank have lost their lives in two days in Himachal. On Sunday, with his family visiting the tourist town of Manali, 11-year-old nishant of Rajasthan's Rattanoo was swept away in Beas River taking photo. The kin are in shock after the incident. Police are searching for the missing teen. On the past day, a young man in the Nogali of Rampur drowned in the Sutlej River.
