The Narcotics Control Bureau on Wednesday framed charges against actor Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Shovik Chakraborty and others before a special court in Mumbai in the drugs case related to the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. At the same time, in September 2020, Sushant's girlfriend Riya was arrested in this case and after nearly a month in jail, the Bombay High Court granted her bail. His brother Shovik and several others have also been made accused in the case of alleged drug use, possession and transactions for the same and most of these accused are presently out on bail. As per the reports that are currently surfacing, the prosecution has accused Riya and Shovik of drug abuse and purchase of such drugs for Sushant and paying for it. Yes and the Special Public Prosecutor said that the court is going to frame charges against all the accused. Though the trial in the case has been postponed, some of the accused have applied for acquittal.
