Meerut: The policeman was killed in a tragic road accident on the Meerut Bulandshahr National High Way in Uttar Pradesh on Sunday morning, while the other three people in the car were seriously injured. After receiving the information of the accident, the police reached the spot and took the dead body of the policeman for post-mortem, along with the injured have been admitted to the hospital for treatment.

According to the information, 47-year-old SI Anand Prakash son Mahipal Singh, a resident of Sarsali village of Barout, was posted at Hasanpur Kotwali of Amroha. His car collided with a Mahindra pickup near DAV Degree College in Kharkhauda. In the accident, car rider Anand Prakash died on the spot, while three people were seriously injured.

After the information was given by the local people, the police reached the spot and inquired about the accident. All the injured were taken out of the car and taken to the hospital for treatment. At the same time, the dead body has been sent for post-mortem. Police say the injured have been reported to the family members of the deceased SI and further investigation is being done.
