Katihar: Two trucks face collided on NH-31 late Saturday night in the district. A massive fire broke out after a truck burst a diesel tank. 4 people aboard both trucks jumped and saved lives. As soon as the information was received, the fire brigade's train rushed to the spot and controlled the fire about 4 hours later.

As per the information received from sources, a truck from Navagchiya was loading sand towards Kursella. In the meantime, Kursella was clash with a maize-loaded truck heading towards Navagchiya. Three people were also lightly injured by the truck to escape. The national highway was jammed after the incident. Both trucks were removed at around 11 a.m. Sunday. Thereafter, the traffic could be streamlined.

With this, nine non-local labourers were killed in a tragic road accident that occurred after a LP truck plunged into a deep gorge on Saturday near Lamayuru Leh on Srinagar-Leh highway.
