All the deceased are said to be residents of Rosda in the Samastipur district. They are being told as relatives. There is chaos in the house as soon as the news of 6 people's death arrives.

The accident took place near NH-31 in the Kursela police station area. 3 seriously injured in the incident have been admitted to the hospital for treatment, where the condition of all three is said to be critical. It is also being said that 9 people went on the Scorpio for some personal occasion, in the meantime, due to the hit of the speedy truck from behind, Scorpio gets uncontrolled. Of the 9 people in Scorpio, 6 died on the spot, while 3 were seriously injured.

According to the information received, the names of people who died are Kailash Mahato, Siddhi Mahato, Nandlal Mahato, Arjun Mahato, Sundari Mahato and Ajay Mahato, residing in Rosda. After the incident, the police reached the spot and got involved in relief and rescue work. The dead bodies have been sent for post-mortem. On Monday, five people have died in a painful accident in Katihar.
