Ghaziabad: In a tragic incident, a van collided with truck killing two persons and injuring three at Masuri here.

According to ASP Ashish Srivastava, “The accident happened on Thursday night when the family was returning to Delhi after presenting prayers at the Ganga in Mukteshwar in Uttarakhand.”

The deceased have been identified as Mahesh Kumar and Manoj, aged 50-years-old died on spot. While the people who suffered with injuries identified as Mahesh's wife Anita 45 year old, his sons Ayush13 years old and Peeyush11 years old and daughter Shagun 9 years old have been hospitalised.

The driver escaped after the incident, said ASP.
