Nasik Rural SP Aarti Singh said, "At least 20 dead bodies have so far been evacuated from the well and the injured are being treated in a government hospital." He said, "We are pumping water out of the well by putting a pump so that it can be seen that there are no other people trapped in the mud." The bus from Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation was going to Kalyan from Nashik while the auto-rickshaw was coming from the front. Officials said that relief work is being conducted with the help of police, fire and local team.
