Patna: On the occasion of Dhanteras in Bihar's capital Patna, people were busy shopping, then a jewelry shop on Bhootnath Road was attacked by miscreants and looted fiercely. Not only this, criminals shot a customer to death and even killed him after protesting.

While giving information about the case on Saturday, a police officer said that six criminals attacked a jewelry shop on Bhootnath Road in Agamkuan police station area and escaped after looting several jewelry, including cash. They have told that in the meantime, a man was shot dead by armed robbers on protest. The other two people were also seriously injured in this case. The deceased has been identified as a teenager.

Senior Superintendent of Police of Patna, Garima Malik has said that the miscreants have committed robberies of about three to four lakhs. During this, the robbers killed a person. They have reported that the miscreants who had looted arrived by bike. Since such an incident occurred in the crowded area on the night of Dhanteras, questions have been raised about the law and order of Bihar. The police is investigating the entire case and CCTVs installed in the vicinity are being investigated.
