American actor Mark Ruffalo is known for his brilliant acting skills. Recently actor Mark has revealed that he was reluctant to be part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and to play the role of Hulk, but actor Robert Downey Jr. persuaded him to play the role of Hulk. According to foreign media reports, Ruffalo, during a conversation with 'The Tonight Show' host Jimmy Phelan, stated that Robert Downey Jr. had persuaded him to accept the offer.
52-year-old Ruffalo said that he was hesitant because at that time he was only doing indie movies. He said, "I used to think whether I am the right person to play it and Joss Whedon said yes you are the right person."
Ruffalo first appeared as Hulk in 'The Avengers' in 2012. On this, he has said that he accepted the offer after receiving a call from Robert Donnie Jr. The actor said, "Then I got a call from Donnie and he just said, 'Ruffalo let's go ahead".
