Robert Vadra clears the air says will not enter active politics till he clear his name

New Delhi: There was buzz that Priyanka’s Gandhi husband  Robert Vadra can entry into politics but this time Vadra said that he would take a call whether or not to only after his name is cleared from all cases he is being tried for.

Vadra cleared the air and said he has at least not fled from India and is facing the law in its due course. He told News agency ANI, “I am in this country…there are people who have looted the country and run away, what about them? I’m always going to be in this country. I will not leave or be in active politics till I clear my name, that is my promise.”

Earlier, On February 25, through apost on social media, Vadra had dropped a hint of entering politics. The post reads, “The years and months that I spent campaigning and working in different parts of the country, but mainly in Uttar Pradesh, gave me a feeling to do more for the people... I feel I should dedicate a larger role in serving the people.”

The brother-in-law of Congress president Rahul Gandhi has been repeatedly summoned by the ED in connection with money laundering and land grab cases. Barely a day later, posters portraying him as a prospective Congress candidate from Moradabad Lok Sabha constituency came up in Uttar Pradesh. Interestingly, pictures of United Progressive Alliance chairperson Sonia Gandhi and Congress president Rahul Gandhi also were shown on the posters.
