New Delhi: Switzerland's tennis player Roger Federer, who is one of the world's most famous tennis players, said he would take part in the French Open next year. The 38-year-old player said, I will participate in the French Open. I probably won't play much before that because I need to spend some time with my family beyond this. 'Federer returned to the French Open this year after being absent for three years where he lost to Rafael Nadal in the semi-finals. He is already confirmed to play in the Tokyo Olympics next year.

Veteran tennis player Roger Federer said on Monday that he will take up the challenge of realizing his dream of winning a gold medal in the men's singles at the Olympics in Tokyo next year. Federer, who has won almost all the major titles of the sport, has not won a gold medal in the singles category of the Olympics.

Federer said at a promotional event, 'I was discussing with my team about what I should do next year between Wimbledon and the US Open. Then I decided to play the Olympics once more. Federer has won the ATP Finals title six times in addition to 20 Grand Slams but has never topped the singles section of the Olympics.
