Let me also tell you that Rohit has been rested from the first Test of the ongoing two-match Test series against New Zealand while Iyer has scored a century in his debut Test. In fact, he scored his century on the second day of the first Test at the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur last Friday. Iyer hit a century of 105 off 171 balls with the help of 12 fours and two sixes. Let me tell you that he has become the 16th indian batsman to score a century in his debut Test.
