Ronald Colman to be the new head coach of the Spanish football club Barcelona team. The president of the club, Josep Maria Bartomeu, released the above information. Colman will replace Quick Setian who can be sacked three days after the club lost 8–2 against Bayern Munich in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

Bartomeu told in a conversation with BARSA TV, "If everything goes well, Colman is going to be the coach of Barcelona. We are betting on him seeing his experience. He was in the dream team. He believed in our style. We do." Colman will join Barcelona after holding the post of coach of the Dutch national team for 2 years. The former defender Colman also played for Barcelona from 1986–1995 and has been involved in winning four La Liga titles during his tenure with the club.

Before being appointed manager of the Netherlands in 2018, Koman worked with Ajax, Benfica, PSV, Valencia, Southampton and Everton. Barcelona failed to win any trophy in the 2019-20 season. In La Liga 2019-20 table, Barcelona's team was at number two below Real Madrid.
