The hotel staff immediately informed the police after seeing the girl injured. Police rushed the injured girl to a hospital where she is undergoing treatment. The culprit is said to be absconding. The hotel manager said the youth had booked the room saying it was the birthday of the girl who accompanied him. The young man left comfortably shortly thereafter.
