Dehradun: Two unknown accused shot an advocate in the Ramnagar new court of Roorkee. A stampede occurred in the court as soon as the bullet sound. After being shot, both criminals, seeing themselves surrounded, fled from the scene. People gave information to the police. Police reached the spot and admitted the injured advocate to a private hospital first. After investigation, the Advocate was brought to the Civil Hospital Roorkee Trauma Center.

The advocate's position is said to be out of danger. The injured advocate Medhaarthi Malik is from Brahmapur. The police have started an investigation of the case. Kotwali in-charge Manoj Manwal said that the accused who were absconding are being searched. This is the second case in Roorkee of firing within a week. On September 9, two bike-ridder criminals opened fire at the gas agency warehouse in Roorkee with the intention of loot.

The bullet hit the leg of the truck driver who was carrying gas at the agency, due to which he was injured. After the firing, the culprits escaped without loot. At the same time, in a police interrogation, the employees and the truck driver had told that the boy came inside with the gun and said that he will shoot, all hands up. At this, everyone thought that the employee who is distributing the cylinder thout that he would be a relative of his and is joking, but he really shot. It is now being investigated by the police.
