Benelli India is likely to launch its cruiser bike Imperiale 400 by the end of this year in the festive season to rival vehicle manufacturer Royal Enfield. Benelli India MD Vikas Jhabakh had said that Benelli will launch three new motorcycles in India by the end of this year with a 400 cc commuter cruiser and two 250 cc motorcycles.

The company has launched the Benelli 400 globally in 2017 and has fuel-injected with a 373.5 cc single-cylinder, SOHC engine. The engine produces 19bhp at 5500 rpm and 28Nm of torque at 3500Rpm. The motor is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The bike uses a double-cradle steel tube frame and features a telescopic forks upfront and dual shock absorbers at the rear. The vintage-looking cruiser now comes with disc brakes and features dual-channel ABS standards. The bike weighs 200 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 12 liters.

Your information is expected to tell that the Benelli Imperiale 400 is likely to be tRK and Leoncino motorcycles in the post-250 cc version. Both bikes already exist in 500 cc avatar for sale. The 250 cc bikes in India are priced at Rs 2.5 lakh (ex-showroom).
