India's powerful bike manufacturer Royal Enfield has increased the price of both its 650cc bikes Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650. Their price has been increased by about 6 thousand rupees. The price hike has happened in all the variants of both bikes. Royal Enfield launched both of these 650cc bikes in November last year. For the first time after launching, their price has been changed.

Ever since the company increased its prices, the initial price of the Interceptor 650 has now risen to Rs 2,56,372, which was earlier Rs 2,50,610. At the same time, the initial price of Cafe Racer Continental GT 650 is now Rs 2,71,673, compared to Rs 2,65,609 earlier. The new prices have been updated on the company's website.

After a few months, the price of these two Royal Enfield bikes can be increased again. Actually, BS 6 emission norms will be implemented in the country from 1 April 2020. Before that the company will launch the BS6 model of these bikes. The Continental GT with BS6 engine was recently spotted during testing. Some changes have also been made in its exhaust. Apart from this, upgrading the engine to BS 6 emission norms will increase the cost of the bike. It is believed that the price of BS6 model of these bikes is going to be higher than now.
