Royal Enfield is discontinuing its 500cc bikes with the introduction of BS4 standards in April, and for this, Royal Enfield has launched the Classic 500 Tribute Black Edition, with its booking online and official dealerships from 10 February. Will be started Tribute Black Edition has been launched at a price of Rs 2.49 lakh (on-road). Royal Enfield is discontinuing its range of 500cc motorcycles. It includes 500 cc models of the Thunderbird, Classic and Bullet lineups. These will be the last 500 cc bikes that the company will sell before closing. These bikes will have an existing 499 cc engine which produces 27.2 bhp power and 41.3 newton meter torque.

Talking about the demand and market of other bikes of the company, recently launched the BS6 model of Classic and Himalayan 350. Fuel injection technology is now used in the Classic 350 engine, which makes the engine more refined than before. BS6 Himalayan has also been updated and new features have been added as well. The starting price of the new Himalayan has been kept at Rs 1.87 lakh (ex-showroom). Upgrading the range of 500cc bikes to BS6 is not beneficial for the domestic market. The reason for this is the high cost of upgrading the engines to meet the new emission norms.
