The world's leading automobile manufacturer Royal Enfield has now joined the two-wheeler manufacturer companies like Hero MotoCorp, Honda 2Wheelers and TVS in the country. Royal Enfield has announced additional warranties and free services for its customers. The company said in a letter to customers that it would extend all warranties and services that were scheduled between March 22 and April 14, 2020. The company has extended these services for two months till June 2020. Apart from this, the Chennai-based bike manufacturer also said that the services of its dealerships, roadside assistance and doorstep services have also been affected during the lockdown.

For your information, let us tell you that the warranty extension will give customers satisfaction and Royal Enfield is likely to delay the launch of its upcoming motorcycle which was to be launched later this month. The most likely new offering is the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 based on the new J1D platform. After launch, this motorcycle will replace the company's Thunderbird 350.

It is believed that many elements from Thunderbird X can include the company in its new Meteor 350. Along with this, it will include a new design theme, more equipment and BS6 standard engine. Meanwhile, Royal Enfield is the first motorcycle manufacturer to have successfully finished BS4 inventory. The company has conformed almost all its models to BS6 emission norms. However, the company has discontinued the 500 cc bike and is bringing the replacement of the Thunderbird 350.
