NEW DELHI: In a grand initiative, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to make an impactful mark on the nation's workforce by personally distributing over 51,000 job appointment letters via a live video conference event scheduled for August 28th, 2023, at 10:30 am. The event, known as the "Rozgar Mela," will simultaneously unfold across 45 locations throughout the country, representing a significant milestone in employment creation.
The Rozgar Mela is a monumental effort orchestrated by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) to bolster the ranks of various Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), including the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Border Security Force (BSF), Shashtra Seema Bal (SSB), Assam Rifles, Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), and the esteemed Delhi Police.
Prime Minister Modi's direct involvement underscores the government's commitment to job generation. During the event, he will not only distribute appointment letters but also address the enthusiastic recruits, infusing them with motivation and a sense of purpose.
These fresh appointees, meticulously selected from all corners of the country, will assume vital roles, ranging from constables (general duty) to sub-inspectors (general duty), as well as positions in non-general duty cadres within various MHA-affiliated organizations.
The reinforcement of CAPFs and the Delhi Police will significantly enhance their operational capacities, allowing them to excel in their multifaceted roles, including safeguarding internal security, countering terrorism, combating insurgency, addressing left-wing extremism, and safeguarding the nation's borders.
This Rozgar Mela stands as a testament to the Prime Minister's unwavering commitment to employment generation, positioning it as a top national priority. It is anticipated that the event will act as a catalyst for further job creation, offering the youth substantial opportunities for empowerment and active participation in the nation's developmental endeavors.
Furthermore, the newly recruited individuals will have the opportunity to hone their skills through "Karmayogi Prarambh," an innovative online training module available on the iGOT Karmayogi portal. This platform offers access to a staggering array of 673 e-learning courses, facilitating convenient and flexible learning experiences accessible from any device, anywhere.
