Prayagraj: A shocking case of RPF jawans taking bribes through Paytm has come to light, fearing action against the BSF jawan for chain pulling. The case pertains to Rajdhani Express on its way from New Delhi to Dibrugarh in which the NCR administration has taken a major action against two RPF jawans for making illegal recovery from BSF personnel.

Investigations conducted against the two accused RPF jawans have revealed that the bribes were taken through cash and Paytm. The Chief Security Commissioner (PCSC) of NCR has dismissed both the RPF jawans with immediate effect after the investigation confirmed bribery. After the dismissal, they will no longer be able to get the allowances and other funds from the Railways.

On July 12, the Rajdhani Express, en its way from New Delhi to Dibrugarh, was manned by Head ConstableAshish Chauhan and RamNayan Yadav of Kanpur Anwarganj of NCR Allahabad Division under escort duty. When the train departed from New Delhi, the WIFE of a BSF jawan was unable to board the train, after which two RPF jawans first showed fear of legal action. In exchange for non-action, the two jawans demanded money from bsf jawan as bribe, bsf jawan also paid some money from Paytm for not having enough cash. After which the BSF jawan referred the entire case to his superior and the culprits were punished.
