The Rajasthan Public Service Commission has resumed the application process under the recruitment advertisement for the post of Agriculture Officer and Agricultural Research Officer (Agricultural Chemistry) released in January 2020. Simultaneously, the Commission has also increased the number of vacancies advertised for these posts from 63 to 97. As per the update released on Wednesday, October 15 on the official portal, rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in by RPSC, the interested candidates for these posts can apply through the application website of the Commission from October 20. Also, the candidates should note that the last date for online application has been fixed as 3 November 2020.
Age Range:
The age limit fixed for both posts is a minimum of 20 years and a maximum of 40 years as of 1 January 2021.
Selection Process:
Candidates for RPSC Agriculture Officer and Agricultural Research Officer (Agrochemicals) posts will be selected on the basis of the examination and interview. The final selection will have both stages as well as weights for the academic performance of the candidates. On the other hand, the scrutiny test will be the objective type which can be conducted online or offline. The examination can be conducted in Ajmer / Jaipur.
How to apply:
According to the RPSC Agriculture Officer Recruitment Notification, only those candidates who have obtained Agriculture or Horticulture MSc degree from a recognized university institution and have knowledge of Hindi language and Rajasthani culture in Devanagari script, are eligible to apply for Agriculture Officer Post. At the same time, Agricultural Research Officer (Agrochemicals) can apply for the post Candidates having Masters Degree in Chemistry or Agrochemicals or Minimum Secondary Level in Soil Science.
