As per reports, 'RRR' buyers were reportedly in talks to take a cut of at least 30% in theatrical deals. The third wave event is being predicted early next year, and the makers of 'RRR' have set their film to release in January 2022. Though 'RRR' may attract audiences to the theaters due to its stellar making and star power, it may not be the same as it was for Baahubali 2. Filmmaker SS Rajamouli's RRR is one of the most awaited Indian films.

But now with various issues going on in Andhra Pradesh, such as movie ticket price issues, the film has to perform exceptionally well at the box office to recover the investment of its buyers. 'RRR' was reportedly bought for Rs 75 crore. After the pandemic, the box-office equations in Telugu states have changed a lot.On the other hand, various OTT platforms have come up in the times to come, and some sections of the audience have stopped watching movies in theaters due to the virus scare.
