Pan-India movie 'RRR' has been making a lot of headlines since its announcement. The film will be released in 10 languages and since the announcement of its release date, more than 348 crore offers have been filed so far for theatrical rights in only 5 languages. Ever since the release date of the movie has been announced, the enthusiasm of the fans is at cloud nine.
Slated to release in October, RRR has received a total offer of Rs 348 crore for theatrical rights for Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. This number is Rs 348 crore, with 75 crores in Nizam, 165 in Andhra Pradesh, 48 in Tamil Nadu, 15 crores in Malayalam and Rs 45 crore in Karnataka.Â
The team is getting a lot of offers from Bollywood too, as the audience here is also part of the huge wave of excitement about this film. It has outpaced the business ahead of the release of Bahubali 2, which grossed around Rs 215 crore from the southern-speaking states. Other famous Indian stars including NTR, Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Samuthirakani and Allison Doody are part of this film which makes it special in itself. The film is directed by SS Rajamouli. Its bygone venture is still the biggest hit Indian movie to cross 1400 crores at the box office in India alone.
