Jammu: The incident left everyone into a shocking state as Rs. 40 lakh worth of cash robbed by an unidentified person from the Sarthal branch of Jammu and Kashmir Bank in Kishtwar district.

Today, in the morning, the cops were called by the civilians of Agral village, after they looked at the shutter of the Bank, which was broken. Then, police found that one of the lockers of the Bank was empty.

According to the Manager of the Bank, “nearly Rs. 20 lakh of old Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 denomination and approximately Rs. 20 lakh in Rs. 2000 and Rs. 100 is missing”.

Also, the Bank guard found to be missing from his role. As well as, an investigation is underway in this matter.
