Rudranil Ghosh is one of the famous and talented actors of the Bengali film industry. The actor celebrated his 48th birthday yesterday. According to the recent reports, now the actor is going to make his directorial debut. He was about to direct his first film in the year 2020, but due to corona pandemic lockdown, it wouldn't happen. With this new year, the 'Uma' actor is all set to make his directorial debut before Durga Puja. During an interview, Rudranil said that he was about to direct his first film in 2020 but due to corona pandemic everything got postponed. But now as things are going normal he is also planning to start the shoot of this first film.

Talking about the story of his directorial debut film, the actor said that the film will be based on the life of a common man and his struggle to survive. This film will be based on common people and their daily struggle and the audience will definitely relate the film with their lives. Further, the 'Katmundu' actor said that he will not play any role in this film but he will going to cast an actor with great acting skills as the film needs a potential actor.

Rudranil is currently shooting in Mumbai for his upcoming film Maidan. Talking about his work front, apart from these, he is also going to play important role in Srimanta Sengupta’s film 'Bochor Kuri Por'. In this film, he will share the screen with actors like Abir Chatterjee, Tanushree Chakraborty and Arpita. Apart from this film, he is also an important part of Atanu Ghosh’s upcoming film, which will be based on the life of a performer.
