Tanzania's party in power, Chama Cha Mapinduzi, celebrated its 45th anniversary with President Samia Suluhu Hassan, who highlighted the party's successes. Hassan said Tanzania has made impressive socio-economic, political, and cultural achievements under the leadership of the CCM when speaking to the east African nation from the Mara area on Saturday.

"Let us continue to monitor our party ideals in order to meet Tanzanians' aspirations," the President said. Tanzania, she remarked, attained a major milestone in July 2020, when it legally moved to lower-middle-income nation status, after two decades of consistent growth, according to media reports.

Tanzania has also been able to increase the provision of clean and safe water to its residents by 75% under the leadership of the ruling party, according to the Head of State. President Hassan stated that significant progress has also been made in the areas of education and health care.
