RATLAM: In a bizarre incident, hundreds of baratis found themselves in a catch-22 position after a groom to be from Ratlam went missing on Tuesday.

The incident reported at Nolaipura before Kamran, 27, son of Mohammed Ayub barat schedule to depart for Banswada, Rajasthan, where he is going to solemnise nikah (Islamic marriage ceremony) with girl of his family choice, Manakchowk police informed. Police filed a missing complaint and launched a search operation.

According to complainant and Kamran’s paternal aunt, Saida Khan said Kamran who involved in readymade business along with his younger brother went missing since morning.

She informed that before his barat schedule to depart from Nolaipura in a bus, he moved out of house saying he will be back within five minute, but did not turned back even an hour after.

Initially, his family members investigate his whereabout by call all his friends and relative, but in a vain. Later they filed his missing complaint with police.

Manakchowk police station incharge Saharsh Yadav said, “Investigation is on in this case and we probing the case keeping love angle in a mind as well. We put our Cheeta party on alert as we got information about his whereabout in Indore from the sources”.
