Rupam belongs to a small town called Muzaffarpur of Bihar.From an early age, she was a strong singer and she ultimately chose to pursue singing both as her passion and as a profession.  Now what makes her different is her ability to face failure and her determination to come out with flying colours.

In the year 2019, she took the decision to showcase her talent on the prestigious television singing competition Indian Idol with a great deal of passion and dedication. She successfully made it through the first round which was held in Kolkata. All of the judges were impressed by her singing skills, and she was encouraged to prepare for the mega next studio round. With her soothing voice, she tried her best to mesmerize the judges, but the rest of her competition presented her with a tough competition and she didn't succeed in getting selected.The fact that this was so important to her broke her heart, but it didn't deter her from moving forward and achieving her goals in life.

The amount of practice she did day and night proved so successful for her later in life.She's currently being recorded for her upcoming duo song "Tumko Sanam" With PadmaShri Udit Narayan and fans are eagerly waiting for its release date. She shared the news on her Instagram account and addressed how much honoured and happy she felt for being able to record a song with such huge personality. She has also recorded a duet with famous playback singer Vipin Sachdeva.

Apart from this, she enjoys singing in different programs and mahostavs organised in her town. She also performs in different art and culture programs organised by the government and her presence adds a feather in a cap. she also holds many live shows in different cities.

Many small town people struggle to achieve their dreams. They have to struggle against the world, conquer, and stand up for what they believe in. It takes a lot of courage and determination to do so. And Rupam Ramya is an inspiration for them. Never in life, she has felt demotivated, instead she asks her fans to always be positive in their life and keep hardworking till they score the goal.
