Rupee fall down 6 paise to 66.83 against the US dollar in early trade at the Interbank Foreign Exchange.
As per the forex dealer said, "US dollar's gains next to some currencies abroad on burly jobs data put the rupee on the backfoot"
On Friday;The rupee had strengthened further by 14 paise to end at 66.77 against the US currency on the back of constant dollar selling by exporters during weak out of the country signals.
However, the benchmark BSE Sensex rose further by 136.83 points, or 0.48 %, to 28,215.18 in early trade.
