Mumbai:The rupee run down by another 17 paise to 66.84 against the USD in early trade on Wednesday, 11 May 2016 on improved request for the greenback from importers during gratitude in the American currency foreign.
Dealers credited the fall to an inferior opening of the domestic equity market.
On Tuesday,the rupee had lost 9 paise to close at 66.67 against the USD.
However, the target BSE Sensex tanked 337.49 points, or 1.31 % , to 25,435.04 in early trade.
