Today; At the Interbank Foreign Exchange market rupee weakened by 9 paise to 67.15 against the dollar in early trade.
According to the forex dealers said, “Strength in dollar against some other currencies overseas weighed on the rupee but a higher opening in the domestic equity market capped the losses”
The rupee had improved from one-month low to close 13 paise senior at 67.06 a dollar in yesterday's trade on the back of selling of the US currency by banks and exporters.
