Russia announced that a high-precision weapon strike destroyed a warehouse with Javelin and NLAW missile systems in Ukraine's Zhytomyr city.

"A strike from long-range precision weapons damaged an ammunition depot on the territory of the military unit of Zhitomir, where Javelin and NLAW anti-tank missile systems were housed," said Major General Igor Konashenkov, spokesman for the Russian Defense Ministry, according to Russian Times report.

Earlier, Russia announced that during the hostilities, the troops seized a large number of foreign captured weaponry, including American Javelin anti-tank systems and British NLAW.

On Saturday, the Ministry announced that it will suspend its offensive so that residents of Mariupol, which is bordered by the Azov Sea, can flee. Another humanitarian route was built for the nearby Ukrainian-controlled town of Volnovakha.

Safe passageways had been agreed upon by Russia and Ukraine, according to Moscow. On Thursday, Russians and Ukrainians convened in Belarus for a second round of peace talks, report said. The ceasefire, according to Mariupol Mayor Vadim Boychenko, will allow work on the restoration of electricity, water, and cell phone service to begin. Local officials would also try to supply food and first-aid kits, he said.

A member of Ukraine's negotiating team, Mikhail Podolyak, said earlier that the two sides had discussed the prospect of momentarily halting hostilities to allow civilians to flee.
