The Russian Embassy in India will inaugurate the Russian Business Center on November 12, an initiative spearheaded by the Business Council for Cooperation with India and Synergy Corporation, New Delhi. The center’s primary goal is to enhance business relations between India and Russia, promote export cooperation, and provide a platform for interaction between their business communities.

The center will feature a co-working space designed for events, regional business missions, forums, seminars, and conferences. Experts will offer analytical support and advice on various business matters.

The opening ceremony will be attended by Russian Ambassador to India, Denis Alipov, and Sergey Cheremin, Minister of the Moscow Government and Head of the Department of External Economic and International Relations of Moscow City.

During his official visit to India, Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov will participate in the plenary session of the Russian-Indian Business Forum in Mumbai, focusing on enhancing economic and business relations between the two nations.

India and Russia have enjoyed a strong and stable bilateral relationship for over 75 years, based on shared commitments to a multipolar world. While the partnership has traditionally centered on military, nuclear, and space cooperation, it has expanded into new areas in recent years.

In the last two years, bilateral trade has surged, exceeding the USD 30 billion target set for 2025. Efforts are underway to further boost Indian exports through new cooperation models. Key connectivity projects like the International North-South Transport Corridor and the Chennai-Vladivostok Eastern Maritime Corridor are vital for strengthening bilateral ties.

Both countries are also focused on joint efforts to develop the Russian Far East and advance research, logistics, and training in the Arctic region. This growing synergy between Russia’s pivot to the East and India’s initiatives like Atmanirbhar Bharat and Make in India is expected to drive further growth in their cooperation.
