Moscow: The national nuclear doctrine outlines the circumstances in which Russia will use nuclear weapons, according to Dmitry Peskov, a spokesman for the Kremlin, who spoke to Sputnik on Saturday.
Regarding the possibility of Russia using nuclear weapons in Ukraine, Peskov responded, "Read the doctrine; everything is written there.
The attempts to carry out terrorist attacks in Russia, including on nuclear facilities, were discussed by Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday. He remarked that the situation is under control. He emphasised that Russia is taking all necessary precautions to stop a bad turn of events, but he also pointed out that Moscow is currently exercising restraint in its response to terrorist and attacks on Ukrainian infrastructure.
According to Putin, if things keep going in this direction, the reaction will be more severe.
