Russia's Sputnik V vaccine authorised in 26 countries: RDIF

Many countries have developed vaccine against corona vaccine. Russia's coronavirus vaccine Sputnik V  has been authorized by many countries.

Now,Montenegro and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines authorised this vaccine thus bringing the total number of countries where it is authorized to 26.
In a press release, the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) said, "The Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF, Russia's sovereign wealth fund) announces the approval of Russian Sputnik V vaccine against coronavirus in Montenegro and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. In total, 26 countries have already authorized Sputnik V." Sputnik has become one of the world's top three coronavirus vaccines in terms of the number of approvals issued by government regulators.

  Meanwhile, India has already started its vaccination drive almost one month ago. In just 26 days, India has become the fastest country to vaccinate over 70 lakh people for corona. So far, India has recorded more than 1.08 crore confirmed COVID-19 cases, including over 1.55 lakh deaths. A total of 1.05 crore people have recuperated from COVID-19 in the country so far. However, there are 1.42 lakh active cases.
