The corona infection is said to be the result of injustice done to our nature. There is hope that now humans will now be grateful to nature. They will work for its upliftment and development, but the matter which came to light in Kerala has once again shamed humanity. In a country like India, where every living being is associated with God, a pregnant elephant was killed in Kerela.

In Kerala, the state with the highest education rate, the elephant standing in the river for three consecutive days caught everyone's attention. This incident came to the notice of the people when Mohan Krishnan, a forest officer of the Rapid Response Team wrote a  post about it on Facebook. According to his post, the female elephant went to the nearby village in search of food. Seeing this, some people fed her firecrackers filled with pineapples. The firecrackers exploded in her mouth, which severely injured her mouth and tongue. The injured elephant escaped from the village, yet she did not hurt anyone.

According to the officials of the forest department, she must have been 14-15 years old. After being injured, she was in pain that she stood in the river for three days, due to which all efforts to provide medical help to her failed. The forest department made efforts to get the elephant out of the river with the help of two elephants. She could not eat anything due to pain and later died. It was revealed after the post mortem report that she was pregnant. Due to the explosion, her entire jaw was severely injured on both sides and her teeth were also broken.
