In the opening day of the week, the S&P BSE Sensex was trading at 27,142 up 108 points, while the broader Nifty50 was ruling at 8,370, up 21 points.
In the market, the BSE Midcap and BSE Smallcap indices registered an uptick of 0.4%, and 0.6%.
In the early trade today, the 30-share index was 70.92 points or 0.26 per cent lower at 26,963.58 while other sector indices fall down up to 0.78 percent.
