Born on June 4, 1946, Bala Subramaniam is an Indian playback singer, actor, music director, singer and filmmaker. He is sometimes also known as SPB or Balu. Noted singer SP Balasubrahmanyam passed away on September 25 last year. Balasubrahmanyam was not only an amazing singer but also a great dubbing artist. He has also received the Nandi Award twice for dubbing. The Nandi Award is the highest honour of the Andhra Pradesh government for Telugu films, theatres and television.
