He had worked with Sushant Singh Rajput in the film Chichhore. However, Sanand himself has told that he had fun working with Sushant.

As such changes were seen in his character, it felt so real". Sanand also believes that nobody could have worked better than Sushant in MS Dhoni. After that film, he became Sushant's fan. He said that whenever he met Sushant he was quite happy. Sanand also believes that there was no depression in Sushant's eyes and he used to meet everyone lovingly.
On Sushant's use of drugs, Sanand said that this never happened in front of him. He never even felt like this. Sanand said- "Some people are tarnishing someone's image for the limelight. What is happening right now is called character abuses. It is being said that he was taking drugs, but I never felt like this. I condemn such reports".
