Lucknow: An FIR was registered against journalistSaba Naqvi and Mohammad Zubair of AltNews for creating enmity between two communities and spreading fake news at Loni police station in Ghaziabad. Mohammad Zubair has not been active even on Twitter for several days. The duo has now reached Loni police station in Uttar Pradesh to make a statement. The police recorded the statements of the two there. The duo had spread lies through social media.

In the same case, an exercise is also being carried out to impose a 'National Security Law (NSA)' on local Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Umaid Wrestler. He was arrested on June 19, 2021. It was he who shot the fake video of the victim and added 'Forcibly jai shri ram bulane', while many of the accused were Muslims and it was a case of assault due to amulet. There was no communal angle.

Ghaziabad police had recently sent another notice to the Twitter in the same case. The notice said twitter was not cooperating with the investigation and there was no justification for the clarification given by it. With this, UP Police had ordered Twitter India MD Mahesh Maheshwari to appear before it in person at Loni police station in Ghaziabad by 10:30 pm on June 24, 2021.
